This question is one I ask every time I sit with a client or speak with someone about their health. This is also the very same questions I asked myself years ago...
Sometimes I phrase it this way but more often than not I ask it in more ways than one. The more answers I hear the more I smile!😄Why? Because every one of those answers is a justification, an excuse, and yes, I've been there and done that!
Illness has become an identity and that my friend can be changed and shed like a nasty old snake skin. As we age the most popular topics of conversation are our health, politics if you're brave, and poop. Probably in that order.
SO I ask you now....How does your illness serve you?
