Living the desert has always been a blessing. Learning how she thinks, feels, heals. One of our deserts' amazing gifts is that of the Creosote bush! Also known as Chaparrel, Greasewood, La Gobernadora, Hediondilla and my personal favorite, the "Little Stinker".
Creosote bush (Larrea tridentata) has traditionally been used for her anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial agents. Topically it is used for PSORIASIS and ECZEMA, particularly in combination with some Milk Thistle seed (capsule).
COLD SORES (herpes simplex) can also be treated with some of the creosote salve along with injuries such as INFECTED CUTS AND SKIN PUNCTURES. Creosote is amazing in her anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties!
