Native to Europe and Asia, chickweed is now found all over the world and grows very easily, to the point that she is now considered a weed. But what an amazing weed she is! The Chippewa and Iroquois Indians were known to use it as an eye wash and a wound poultice. This tradition is one we still carry on today and have included it in our own Eye Wash, Itchy Skin Salve, and a variety of our tea blends and tincture formulas.
